RiverTech at Goodwin University | Grades 9 - 12
Choosing a magnet school education may be exactly the right step for your child — and you. A NEASC candidate school, RiverTech at Goodwin University is the first technical magnet school in the state of Connecticut. RiverTech scholars have the unique opportunity to explore fields such as automation (drones, robots, and industrial automation), production and fabrication (CNC machining, welding, quality control), system integration (electronics, design thinking), and SMART Factory (data analytics, cyber security, artificial intelligence). Through innovative approaches to learning, internships, and hands-on learning experiences, scholars are equipped with the tools and experiences necessary to thrive in the rapidly evolving technological landscape. With business and entrepreneurialism at the core of their curriculum, scholars explore a variety of technology industries and apply their learning to real-world, community-based problems in collaboration with Connecticut industry leaders.

Earn College Credit in High School
At RiverTech, your child can get a jump-start on a college career. In addition to a full range of high school and AP courses, scholars have the opportunity to take classes through Goodwin University and the University of Bridgeport and earn over 60 transferable college credits while still in high school — tuition-free — which amounts to an associate's degree. RiverTech scholars are prepared academically and socially for college — laying an important foundation for future success.
